Why I Rebuilt This Site

notes/April 4, 2026

I am replacing my website.

The old site had everything. Animated timelines, keyword search across every project, three.js renders in the background. That was the problem. It was screaming into the void, look at all the things I’ve built. In the age of AI, any feature can be implemented in a few keystrokes. Highlighting every project I have ever done just adds noise.

So, I decided to strip the site down and carefully refine what I want it to say. No more animations or complex search bars. Just text, links to more text, and a color scheme ripped straight out of Apple Notes.

There's also something a list of accomplishments can't give you: how I think. You can get my experience from LinkedIn. I don't need a website for that. I want this to be the place where the process is visible, not just the artifacts of what I've built. That's what's here.
